I was hoping to learn about Craniosacral Therapy. Instead, I got a bunch of stories and anecdotes. I hate these kinds of books. It reads like the guy's journal; or worse, fiction. Wanted a textbook.

This book may bring great relief to many sufferer's of chronic pain problems, certain social behavior disorders I imagine, various types of awkwardness in human movement and behavior. This man was highly dedicated and has large numbers of studies and results that will be useful to doctors of the future or anyone seeking relief from medical problems relating to the nervous system. We need to remember the nervous system is set up so that what you see or think will be reflected in some neurohormone effect in some part of the body. Over time there can be changes that cause what is thought of as a disease or a discomfort. Many times, people like Upledger will have the answers when the patient has obtained no relief from standard Western Medicine. I have several of his books and find them to be fascinating and useful. This book seemed to be written more for the therapist of Craniosacral therapy than the patient, but it gives you an idea of what Crainiosacral therapy is and you can find a therapist in your area no doubt. I would also read one of Dr John Sarno's books to understand the Mind-Body connection and as an MD he gives many examples of cases he has treated as well to relieve people's medical problems such as back pain.Why not have an open mind? It is not invasive as surgery would be and not as expensive!

This book describes Dr. Upledger's personal experiences as he learned about osteopathy and craniosacral therapy. It is clearly written and easy to read. The style is engaging. It is written for the average person who is interested in the healing arts. You do not need to be a medical professional to understand or employ the strategies described by Dr. Upledger. The book includes a bibliography of additional references as well as a list of resources that may be of interest to readers.

This book gives a good picture through case studies of cranial-sacral, somatic emotional release and some other modalities. It definately peaked my interest and when I took a seminar for continuing education hours, I was pleasantly surprised to discover how well it actually works.Feeling the rhythm of the cerebro-spinal fluid for myself was like a new world opening up.It was a great seminar and we all (students and therapists)left changed with new awareness and respect for the amazing human body.We are fearfully and wonderfully made!This particular book does not proceed to describe the practice of cranial-sacral though. It just gives case study accounts to show what can be achieved using this modality.

It was fine, I donated it to our local library after I read it because I will not read it again. It had good information with stories that were similar to what I've experienced in craniosacral treatment. Thankful for the treatment and the help I have received it from it.

Easy reading, lots of good, easy to understand information on a variety of CST topics. This is a great book for practitioners, and anyone else interested in learning more about this somewhat mysterious practice. Cranial sacral therapy works! I have had great results both giving and receiving this therapy. It worked better than deep tissue work on my ancient rotator cuff injury, and was certainly much more pleasant and relaxing than deep tissue work ever dreamed of being!

A compelling story about the discovery of Craniosacral movement and rhythms and how Dr. John Upledger learned to use them to eliminate or at least improve, the sources of pain and dysfunction in the human body.

This is an outstanding book and the information it provides is amazing!! I have actually experienced some of the techniques thru my therapeutic massage professional and they have helped me immensely!!!

I have been getting the calendar for over 15 years, mostly as a planting and moon phase guide. I was disappointed in the artwork this year. It was so grayed and dark. Also the symbols associated with each astrological sign were so limited. II didn't even find the astrological symbol for Pisces, nor were there the fish swimming in different directions. It used to be that the artwork reflected the energy of their sign. Taurus: Spring, Vibrant Earth mother, and earth energy. Hard working, yet ruled by Venus. This year painted In sick muted colors of green. The symbol was obvious though. I suppose the two giant twisted horns that couldn't be on a bull anatomically, represented it. Scorpio has three totems, The scorpion, the eagle and the Phoenix. It is very important that all three be recognized, because it reflects the evolution of the sign, and the journey that all souls will make at some point. I could go on. Can't put it on the wall this year.

I have purchased the Llewellyn Astrological Calendar every year since 1972. As a gardener, I use it to plant by the moon sign as well as plan health treatments, etc. I find it an invaluable resource and the illustrations are always beautiful so it is a piece of art hanging by my back door.

Have been buying this calendar every year for the past dozen years or so. It always features beautiful artwork, along with enought space to write appointments, etc. If you like astrology, this is the best calendar on the market.

The illustrations are just to bleak, especially for the times we live in currently. I've taken to covering them up, February's is just horrid! The moon phases and all info can be accessed via internet, but I enjoy a good calendar. Sorry I bought it, it's a waste of $$.

I really like this calendar because it provides daily planet transits as well as good information on the planets, houses and so on, even to good days for planting. Some of the month's pictures are marvelous with wonderful detail, and some I didn't like because they feel dark - I cover those up. I wish there were a bit more room to write appointments in the calendar, but I wouldn't want to give up planet transit information, so I guess it's still good - and more meaningful than a calendar with just pictures.

I love Llewelyn's Astrological calendar, I buy one every year. I bought 3 this year, 2 to give as Christmas gifts. The shipping was flawless. However, I've opened my calendar and noticed that after August, it repeats June, July, and August again. There's no September, October, November, or December... I know there's probably no way for the seller to have realized this. It seems to be a manufacturing flaw. But the worst part is that I don't know if the two wrapped calendars under my Christmas tree are flawed as well. Can anyone tell me who I should actually contact about this?

I have purchase Llewellyn's Calendars since 1985 and I love everything about it. I have kept every calendar since then for reference. The illustrations are beautiful and all the information contained within is like reading a book. It has information that is easy to follow for beginners and advance astrologers who want to keep a quick eye on the stars and planets.

What a beautiful, motivating and cosmic calendar. Have ordered several as gifts for Leo's and my Scorpio self. I'm sure I will buy more for my friends as holiday gifts.
